We can't recommend this property more in terms of quality, facilities, location and host.We ended up cooking every night as we just loved staying in and enjoying all the facilities of the apartment, which is so well appointed and has everything you need.My partner and I love running and walking and there are so many options right from the door.A particular highlight was a walk from the edge of Ullswater (Glenridding) up over Striding Edge to the peak of Helvellyn and then on to Whiteside and down through Greenside Mine back to Glenridding, a challenging hike but the scenery is breath-taking.If you book, you won't be disappointed.

Julie is lovely, the apartment is fantastic, spotless, rooms are a good size and well presented, greeted with a bottle of wine and chocolates, little things like sauces in the fridge, tea and coffee, kitchen roll etc, a lot of thought has gone into the whole experience, will definitely be back.Location is stunning and the pink sheep in the field opposite made us chuckle.

This is our second stay at Ullswater View. First time was when it was a B&B, not as a serviced apartment. Julie the owner and host is lovely - polite, friendly and can’t do more for you. The apartment has 2 large bedrooms, lounge, dining and kitchen with everything you could possibly need! Great value for money and well situated between Pooley Bridge and Glenridding close to Ullswater lake. We will definitely be returning again! Thanks Julie x

Its rare that I would give a property 5 stars but this apartment was wonderful. It has two good sized bedrooms both with very nice ensuite bathrooms, one with a large Jacuzzi bath which allows you to bathe while looking out onto the mountains. The lounge is also very nice, with a small but adequate separate dining area and a small but very well equipped kitchen. The standard of the furnishings is high and top marks to the owner as it was super clean, my partner is a clean freak so it was a nice change for me not having to watch her clean items at the start of a vacation. The view from both bedrooms is awesome, looking onto the mountains with a view of Ullswater lake, I blame this view for not finishing the book I had planned to finish as I spent too much time gazing out of the window. The location is in between Pooley Bridge and Glenridding with each taking about 15mins to drive to. Its on a main road but I did not notice any road noise whilst in the apartment. Not many pubs within walking distance but we didn't go for the pubs, all in all a great place to stay and we will definitely be returning.

I’ve been staying at ullswater view for many years I got engaged here, and the new apartment style is just heavenly, immaculately clean, spacious, modern and everything just so comfortable me and my partner always have the most amazing stay, we literally could have happily stayed for days such a treat for us, thanks Julie again for another wonderful stay and we will be back againMatt
